God shows no favoritism, but accepts people from every nation

I attended St. Peter's Church in Joffa:

It turns out that this church is quite significant. Joffa (also known as Jaffa or Yafo) is where Apostle Peter had a vision that indicated that Gentiles can become Christians. The whole story is told in Acts 10, and the interior of the church has a painting that depicts the moment of the vision.

Given the size of Old Jaffa and the description in Acts 10, Peter likely had this vision within a stone's throw of the location of the church. And so, as a result, my family and I ended up there at the site of that vision, after a long chain of events that involves a good chunk of world history.

This chain continues on even now - it involved my Jewish friend in America recommending the church to me, my lodging and schedule being such that it was the best option, and my mom recognizing the meaning of the painting when we visited. And now that you've read this, you're a part of it too - no matter who or where you are. Truly, God does not show favoritism, but accepts people from every nation.
